CAPTURE OF A TRANSPORT BY REPUBLICANS. [PERTRKSS ASSOCIATION.] Rio de Janeiro, February 3. — The
majority of the foreign diplomatists in Brazil advise that both sides should be recgnised as belligerents. The Republicans have captured the transport Itipu, with consalvesfor Marshal Peixoto's new squadron on board. Admiral de Gama, attached to the rebels, has notified that vessels of all nations will be allowed to proceed to the wharves.
