THIS DAY. Monday, May 8. — Beforo F. A. Carrington, Esq , J.P., R. Cock, Esq., J P., and H. J. Goodman, Esq., J.P. Compulsory Clauses of Education Acr.— G. Bennett, secretary of Inglewood School Committee, v. G. Brough. Defendant was charged with failure to send two children to school. Tho Bench ordered tho defendant to stnd the children to school and pay costs 9a Gd. — Same v. T. FlintofE. No appearance of defendant. The evidence showed this to be a bad case ; and the Bench fined defend int 10?, and costs 19a 61), and ordered him to send the two children to school. — Same v. T. Rawlinson. No appearance of de'endant, who was ordered to send tho child to school and pay costs 9s 6d. — Same v. G. Russling. Defendant who pleaded guilty was ordered to send his child to school and pay costs 9s 6d. — Sam v Raymond Smith. Defendant did not appear. He was < rdored to bend his child to school und pay costs, 9d fid. First Offender. — An inebriate, who was arrested on Saturday night, was convicted and di' charged, being a first offender. Tho Court rose.
