THE LATE MR THOMAS KING.
At the meeting of the Trusteos of the New Plymouth Saving Bank which was held this (Monday) morning, it was proposed by Major Parris, and seconded by Mr A. Shutlleworth : — " That tho surviving members of tho Board of Trustees of the New Plymouth Savings Bunk in con sequence of the death ot the lato T. King, Esq., who for 18 years filled the appointment of Vico-President of the Bank so efficiently, wish to embody in a resolution their seose of the loss to tin's and other institutions which he was long associated w tli, and took a 1 ading and laborious part in without remuneration, and for tho interest ond welfare of the public That the Trustees respectfully request the Manager to forward a copy of this resolution to Mrs King, and desire to convey their sincere sympathy und condolence with the family i.i their bereavement," The resolution was carried unanimously.
