KILLED IN A PRIZE FIGHT.
Auckland, April 26. At the inquest on the body of Forgie, one of the contestants in the recent prize fight, the jury returned a verdict that deceased met with his death from the effects of injuries received in a glove contest. They also expressed appreciation of the conduct of Constablo Hutchison in putting a stop to the proceedings at the stage he did, and also expressed a desire that the Governuionfc should take early steps to prevent such disgraceful occurence3 for the future.
