[fKOM ODB OWN OOKKISSPONDENT.J April 20. — The Chairman of the Domain Board called a meeting for to-day, but as the other two members did not attend the meeting lapsed, which is to be regretted. This district is making great strides. Wo are to get a school teacher's residence shortly, the tender for which was accepted two months ago. Six miles of new road up tho Mimi Valley is now completed, which just reaches the Crown lands.
A grand piece, of engineering in tho shape of a massive culvert on the Avenue Road has been passed by the County engineer. To look at this piece of work makes one think that our our engineer is wasting his timo |here, it is in the Empire City he should be.
