WESTOWN.
["FROM ODB OWN CORRESPONDKNr.I April 21. — Oa Sunday last, our new and commodious public building— likely to be named the Westown Institute — was openod with divine service by the Yen. Archdeacon Govett. The bouse was filled to over flowing, a congregation numbering nearly two hundred taking part in a most impressive and appropriate service. The choir, with Mr Woodhead presiding at the organette (kindly lent by Mr Coker, of Collier & Co.), rendered the service of song in a most efficient manner. This most auspicious opening augurs well for the future, and promises to realise the hopes of the Committee, that the building will prove a great boon to the varied requirements of our district. I will send an account in due course of the social gathering to be held on Thursday evet-ing, which, if the- weather is favorable, is a guaranteed success.
