I fFROM OUR OWN CORUBSPONDRNT.] January 20. — A meeting in connection with the Wesleyan Jubilee celebration was held in the Church here on Monday evening. -Mr T. Wright occupied the chair, and- there was a fair attendance. The Rev. J. T. - Pinfold gave, several reasons why belonging to- the Methodist Church was a blessing, and exhorted all to show their gratitude in a , practical form. The Rev. . W. Morley showed what were tho "purposes of the Jubilee, and expounded the objects sought to bo gained by the " Thanksgiving Fund." Several promises to the latter were made, after which the meeting closed in the usual way.
