PETITIONS AGAINST RETURN OF 1 MEMBERS. Auckland, January . 14. — A copy of the petition against the return of Mr Allen, member for Te Aroba, has been lodged at the Supreme Court. It alleges that Mr | Allen did not by letter or telegram signify his consent to nomination, and that he did . not appoint a scrutineer to each or any' ballot box.
