ARRIVAL OF MATATUA DELAYED.
It was reported in town on Monday evening that the s.s. Matatua would not arrivo at Waitara on Tuesday, as had originally been intended, but that she would come on Wednesday. The cause of tho change of date is on account of some delay in the south.
Mr (iihnour received a wire at noon today (Tuesday), from Messrs Levin and Co., of Wellington, that the Matatua had left Dunedin at 5 o'clock on Monday evening for Waitara. The steamer will therefore be due off Waitara about midday on Wednesday.
