MESSES VICKERS & STEVENS' WEEKLY AUCTION REPORT.
Messrs Vickers and Stevens report that at their auction rooms, Inglewood, they Bold a 8 under : Oats 2s 6d per bushel, fowls wheat 2s 9d per bushel, potatoes 6s to 6s 6d per sack, cheese 5d per lb, bacon 4d per lb, tea 14s 6d per box, clothing, trees, and f nrniture at fair rates. On Monday, at Stratford, they held a sale of fruit and forest trees on account of Mr Mitchirison. Bidding was slack, bat most lots were disposed of. On Wednesday, at their usual stock sale in Inglewood, owing to the wet weatherj very few stock were yarded, but those to hand fetched late rates.
