MASONIC GRAND MASTER. "Wellington, October 23. It is stated that Lord Onslow has declined to entertain the offer of the Grand Mastership of the New Zealand constitution for at least twelve months, and the Grand Lodge formed in Wellington intends now to offer the position either to Sir E. Stout, of Dunedin, or Mr. Thompson, D.G.M., of Christchurch. ; "_ RULE NISI. Wellington, October 24. In Chambers a rule »isi was granted calling on Mr W. Brassey, solicitor, of Gisborne, to answer affidavits in connection with certain alleged misconduct on his part as solicitor for C. J. Jury. The order was made returnable at the first sittings of the Banco Court at Wellington after the expiration of fourteen days.
