[■PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] FIRE AT KAIKOURA. Kaikouea, July 13. Connor's Temperance Hotel was burnt down early this morning. About £30 worth was saved. The inmates saved little or nothing. The premises aud contents were insured for £600 in the New Zealand office. Fortunately there was no wind, or Maxton's new store would have gone ; as it was it was only saved by most strenuous exertions, the building being slightly damaged.
