AUSTRALIAN TELEGRAMS.
Sydney, July 12. The proceedings in the Legislative Assembly were commented npon by the, press generally in terms of great condemnation, the scenes in the Chamber during the recent lengthy pitting being characterised as disorderly beyond description. The sitting lasted fifty-Bix and a-half hours. Lady Stephen, wife of Sir Alfred Stephen, Lieut-Governor of New South Wales, died to-day.
