Tho wicket was in better order than the previous day. The • Homo" team continuod their second innings, which closed for 157, of which Scotton mado 45 before ho was caught. Tho Australians, who required 180 runs to win, went in f or their second innings, and when tlio stumps wero drawn had lost four wickets for 122 runs, the principal scorers being — 'Jones, c, 40 ; Scott, c and b, 35 ; Giffen, not out, 24. The game was declared drawn.
