CAPTAIN SKEET AT INGLEWOOD.
fTHLHGRAPHED BY OUR CORRESPONDENT.] September I.— On Saturday evening a meeting was hold at the Government Buildings in this town for the purpose of hearing Captain Sktict express his opinion upon political questions. Mr; T. Drake, at the request of the meeting, took tho chair, and Captain Skcct then iv a loug and wellilelivered speech made t|io inhabitants of our mud'girt metropolis acquainted with Ins views. The mooting was very well attended, and after a heavy list of questions had been put by tho electors, and answered by the Captain, and a vote of thanks unanimously accorded to him, like all other meetings, it then dissolved.
