The Misses H. and E. Bremner (Temuka) have gone on a holiday to Southland. Mr and Mrs Peterson (Florida, America) are staying at the Wolseley Hotel, Winchester. Mr and Mrs Pinder are spending the holidays with Miss/ Louden (Winchester). Mr and Mrs N. South (Winchester) are spending a holiday at Mosgiel. Mr J. McGill (Winchester) has gone to Dunsandel, where he intends to spend the holidays. Mr 0, Davey, who has been staying with his father, Mr G. Davey, Winchester road, has gone to New Brighton. Mr G. J. Walker and Mr J. G. Ritchie have gone to Dunedin, by car, on a short holiday. Mrs D. Marshall (Wellington) and Mr and Mrs E. Hayman (Ashburton) are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. 0. Barrett (Winchester). Miss Enid Presland (Christchurch) is spending a short holiday in Temuka, and is the guest of Mrs F. Keenan, Wilkin street. Mr and Mrs W. G. Blackie, and Miss Phyllis Blackie, have arrived in Temuka, on a visit to Mr and Mrs A. F. McGill, Station House. The Rev. W. W. Macarthur, Presbyterian minister at Portobello, arrived in Temuka yesterday. He will occupy Mr Fell’s pulpit during his absence. Dr. W. Marshall Macdonald, the well-known Dunedin medico, is at present on a visit to Temuka. He is accompanied by Mrs Macdonald and family. Miss Agnes Lowrie, of the staff of □ the Dunedin Public Library, is at I present on a visit to Temuka, and is the guest of Mrs Lowrie, Davie street. Mr and Mrs Levido and Mr and Mrs Chase, of Dunedin, have arrived in Temuka, and are camping on the banks of the Temuka river, devoting themselves to trout fishing. Mr and Mrs L H. Orbell (Winchester) left on Wednesday for Akaroa, where they are the guests of Mrs J. C. Buckland. Mr G. B. Orbell left the same day for Waikouaiti. The Rev. I-I. R. Fell, accompanied by Mrs Fell and family, left fox’ Dunedin yesterday. They purpose spending a four-weeks’ holiday at Portobello.
