BASKETBALL.
CLANDEBOYE v. GERALDINE. On Thursday afternoon teams from the Clandeboye Young Women’s Basketball Club visited Geraldine, where games were played against the Geraldine Club. By a rather singular coincidence for basketball, both games ended in a draw. The following were the scores:— Geraldine A. 6 Clandeboye A. (I. Geraldine B. 4, Clandeboye B. 4. After the games the Geraldine girls entertained the visiting players to afternoon tea. Miss Leila Pemberton, on behalf of Clandeboye, returned thanks for the hospitality extended to them by. Geraldine, for whom Miss Galiamin suitably replied. Arrangements are being made for return games later in the season.
