•■■^ v j GENEVA, September 4. j The Geneva- correspondent of > the j Australian Press Association states that the opening of the Assembly of the League of Nations occupied only half an hour, and then adjourned to enable a Committee to examine the delegates’ credentials. Senor Don A. Edwards, of Chile, was elected president of jthe Assembly, whereupon the Peru delegation withdrew. Honduras, Salvador, ‘Nicaragua, Argentina and Bolivia are not represented on the League of Nations.
