THIS YEAR’S PROGRAMME. At the annual meeting held this week several additions were to ■ the very attractive programme which gave such satisfaction last year. In the running events, a mile has been included, the prizes for which will he £4, £2, and £l. Mr Morris Williams gives a special prize of £2 for fastest time, and Mr A. J. Bell £1 towards the prizes for this race. Mr A. Barnett gives a special prize of £2 2s for the 880 yards. In addition Iq. these, championship events will be made of tbo high, long, and hop, step and jump, the Association providing medals. The events vvill he handicap as well as championship. To the Highland events will be added juvenile sailor’s hornpipe, Sean Triubhas, and a local Highland fling for boys and girls under 14. Mr Mcllroy gives a modal for most points in juvenile dancing, exclusive of local events, and Mr F. McDonald £1 to the prize fund for local events.
