TIMARU AND ASSOCIATION.
The' following is the forty-third annuaf report and balance-sheet of the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association, °tliat_ will bo presented by the committee at the Society's annual meeting to-day : "During the season £.197 9s was spent in buiklingi new horse boxes, improving the grand stand, and other necessary works. It is considered advisable that some additional horsa stalls' should be built before next show. The annual hlorse parade and ram fair were held as usual, tke proJits being £4 2/2 and £2 Is respective ly. There is a slight facing o'f in the membership, and a few have not yet paid last year's subscriptions. This is to be regretted, more especially as the Association has to pay £775 to debenture holders during the next two years. The thanks of the Association arc due to all those who materially assisted by giving many private and special prizes, and to those judges others who gave their services gratuitously at the annual show."
