AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, July 22. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand reports upon the local grain market as follows : Wheat, per bushel, 3s lid, the market much steadier. Malting barley is dull and heavy, and id quoted at 4s. New Zealand oats, feeding sorts are without material change, the market if anything weaker ; to-lav’s price is 2s lOd to Bs. Milling sorts are iq fair demand at 3s Id to 3s 2d. New Zealand pats under bond are slow of sale at 2a Id to 2s sd. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, July 21. ‘ The market for colonial breadstuff's and tallow are without quotable change. The National Mortgage and Agency Company have received the following cable message Loudon, July 21. The frozen meat per Canterbury from the Bluff realised s£d. Wool is firm at the closing rates of last series, and there is a fair demand privately. The nrospect for the next gales >'s good, as also is the outlook for the English harvest. Present value New Zealand wheat, 395.
