Miss M. McEwen, Durham Road, is staying with her aunt at Christchurch. Miss Janet Fitzherbert has returned to Opunake after visiting her mother, Mrs. A. Allen, for a few days. Miss J. Lili, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. M. Sutherland. Miss J. Homershorn, Taumarunui, was the guest of Mrs. Reeve, Norfolk Road, during the week-end. Mesdames W. J. Smith and W. Kaye visited Stratford on Friday for the halfyearly meeting 'of the council of the Federation of Women’s Institutes. Miss Q. Gernhoefer has returned from Warea where she spent the week-end. Miss Jean Baker was the guest of Miss D. Ni'coll, Huirangi, during the weekend. Mrs. J. Gibbs left during the week for Carterton, where she will spend a few days before going to Featherston as the guest of Mrs. Keenan. Miss Ruth Reeve has returned to Tokirima after spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. J. Reeve, Norfolk Road.
