VICTORIA LEAGUE FUNDS DRIVE. r FLOWERS AT- NEW PLYMOUTH. The room was bright with the vivid colours of the flower stall and afternoon tea was served on tables decked with daffodils. Supervising arrangements was Mrs. I. W. B. Roy, president of the Victoria League, and Miss D. Webb acted as treasurer. Stall-holders were: Produce, Mes-. dames W. G. Knight, P. Hoby and A. J. Rutherford; flowers,’ Mesdames J. L. ■Walton and M. J. Armstrong; sewing, Mesdames A. H. Avery and J. N. Paynter; cake, Mesdames M. Campbell, F.- N. Whitcombe and Miss M. Godfrey; sweets, Whakarata branch; jumble, Mesdames G. Neal and S. F. Burgess. Mrs. P. C. Davie acted as doorkeeper. Competitions were won. by Miss B. Grant, foot-warmer;. Mrs. M. J. Armstrong, cake; “V.L.,” rabbit; Mrs. F. G. Evans, tea cosy; Mrs. P. White, towels; Mrs. A. J. Rutherford, golliwog; Mrs. P. White, handkerchiefs;. Mrs. C. Burgess, tea cosy; Mrs. W. H. Skinner, rabbit; Mrs. Freethy, daphne; Mrs. P. G.
