JEALOUSY OF STATES
DANGER TO AUSTRALIA SEEN.
VIEW OF LORD BADEN POWELL.
By Telegraph—Press ■ Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5 p.m. Victoria (8.C.), April 12. Addressing the Canadian Club, Lord Baden Powell, referring to the scout jamboree in Australia in January, declared the States of Australia were extremely jealous of one another. Close by were small countries “fairly bursting their bounds” with their eyes on Australia. If Australian people were divided among themselves they would not stand.
When the scouts came together in camp, however, they were given the idea they were Australians, not Queenslanders or Victorians.
