Mrs. O’Reilly, Wellington, is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. R. J. Morris, Mangahume. Hcrt":c3 at afternoon tea last week included Mrs. R. J. Morris and Mrs. T. N. Watt. On Wednesday evening’ Mrs. T. N. Watt entertained at three tables of bridge, when she wore to receive her guests a frock of scarlet lace and georgette. Mrs. L. S. Donnelly was the winner of a hidden number prize. Mrs. C. H. Marcroft was hostess at afternoon tea on Thursday, while in the evening she entertained at three tables of bridge. Bowls of dahlias were the floral decorations and the hostess were a frock in tones of lime and brown silk. The afternoon guests were Mesdames Burton, Morris, O’Reilly (Wellington). Fouhy, Donnelly, McGregor (Kaponga) and Jenkin. The bridge prize winners in the evening were Mrs. H. Mantey and Mrs. G. Cundy, the other guests being Mesdames C. A. Smith, Dalrymple, . Watt, Parkes, Downey, F. Hammond, Ritchie, Sharp, Jenkin and Miss E. Cate.
