LECTURE BY DR. BEEBY. Those who are interested in educational research in New Zealand will have an opportunity of hearing at New Plymouth to-night details of the work and aims of the New Zealand Council for Educational Research. Dr. Beeby, who is the chief executive officer of the council. Is a well known educationalist. His views, particularly m regard to administrative control of the Dominion’s education system have given rise to controversy, but there is all the more reason why those interested in the welfare of New Zealand schools should hear his reasons for the course he favours. The lecture will be held ' at the Technical College, Liardet Street
