LEAVE TO PROSECUTE GIVEN. AUCKLAND PAPER INVOLVED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, April 10. Legal argument was held by Mr. E. Page, S.M., on the application of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. W. G. Wohlmann, for leave to commence prosecution for alleged defamatory libel against Albert Edward Robinson, of Auckland, editor of Farming First. Mr. Page said that the place of hearing would have to follow ordinary law. He did not propose to discuss details of the articles. It seemed to him that a case had been made out under Section 11 of the Law of Libel Amendment Act. He thought, therefore, that it was his duty' to make the order sought.
