RAHOTU EUCHRE PARTY

PLUNKET SOCIETY BENEFITS. The last of a series of euchre parties for funds of the Rahotu Plunket Society was held on Saturday, the results being splendid. The president, Mrs. H. Clarke, and committee did good work. The prizes were won by Mrs. W. Hopkins and Mrs. J. Williamson, Mr. C. Green and Mr. H. Brewer playing off for men’s first and second prizes. Next Saturday a series of five euchre parties for the bowling club will commence. An aggregate prize will be competed for. Personal Items.

Miss Morrow is staying with her sister, Mrs. Mann, Pungarehu. Mesdames W. J. Wright, W. Butler and J. Young attended the Women’s Division meeting at Stratford. Afternoon tea was held at the saleyards on Monday, the proceeds being for the Anzac Day funds. Mr. and Mrs. W. Bell, senr., are the guests of their son, Mr. W. Bell, Pungarehu.
