AIR PAGEANT AT NELSON. PUNCTUALITY OF ARRIVALS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, March 22. The South Island air pageant was commenced this morning in glorious weather. The zero hour competition was won by ZK—AAX, a Western Federated plane piloted by J. Strachan, which arrived exactly at 11.30 a.m. ZK—ACH (Western Federated) arrived at 11.291, 2?K—AAA (Marlborough) at 11.29 J, ZK—ABA (Manawatu) at 11.291, and ZK—ABE (Wairarapa) at 11.301. A large number of machines will arrive to-morrow and the pageant promises to be a great success.
