WORK STEADILY PROCEEDING. DATES FIXED FOR COMPLETION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 8 p.m. London, March 22. Mr. Evan Wallace, speaking on the naval estimates in the House of Commons, said -work on the Singapore Base was going on steadily according to plan. The graving dock should be ready to function in September, 1937, and the whole base would be ready in 1939.
