DEATH IN BYRD PARTY
FIRST IN THE EXPEDITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, March 5. The first death in connection with the Byrd Expedition occurred yesterday, being that of Ivor Tingloff, carpenter, aged 40, of Boston, married, who was admitted to hospital on the arrival of the Jacob Ruppert.
