Christie and Soils, farmers, was destfbyfed by fire yesterday aftetndbn. The building Wfes a hiriferbomed, two-stoteyed structute, erected upwards of 40 years agb, and has been bccubied feVef siri'Ce by the Christie family. , . The fire is believed to have started in a superheater. A big fife was in the rahgfe at the time fbf cbokiftg. Thfe Cook was absent for a few mhirites fend on returning fbund the kitchen full of smoke. The blazfe qiilckly spread and razed the building to the ground. Nothing, was saved; The insurance bh the house Was £750 in the Royal Office, aftd on the furniture £250.
