NET DEBIT BALANCE
BRITAIN’S FINANCIAL YEAR. : BOARD OF-TRADE ESTIMATE. By Telegraph—Pr£ss Asin.—Copyright. London, Feb. 20. The Board ,of Trade estimates a debit of £1,000,000. as the net balance oi all transactions of a revenue character between the United Kingdom and. other countries compared with a credit of £2,000,000 in 1933 and a debit balance of £51,000,600 in 1932. Excess imports in 1934 of £295,000,000 were balanced by excess Government receipts from overseas of £9,000,00, net national shipping income £70,000,000, income from overseas investments £175,000,000, and receipts from commissions and other sources £40,000,000, leaving a debit of £1,000,000.
