GAOL FOR THEFTS
PROBATION JUST COMPLETED. FORMER OFFENCE OF RECEIVING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Sentence of two months’ imprisonment was imposed by Mr. E. Page, S.M., today on Dennis Henry Fryer, aged 29, a labourer fend seaman, for stealing sums totalling £3 2s 5d from the Onslow Club, a relief workers’ organisation, fet Khandallah. Fryer pleaded guilty. He had just completed a term of two years’ probation for receiving stolen property.
