legislative council debate. PUBLIC RIGHT OF INSPECTION: By Tslegrflph—Press Aasdclatibn, Wellington, Last Night. The Legislative Council went iftto committee to-day bn the Companies (Bondholders’ Incorporation) Bill. _ On the motion of the Hon. R. Masters an amendment was adopted giving the public the right to inspect documents referring to feompanies filed with the registrar bf companies. Owing to the difficulty of finding a suitable wording for the clause relating to the publication bf the proceedings of the commission it was decided to hdld this point over until the Council met again on Wednesday.
