FRANKTON QUOTATIONS. OX BEEF IN DEMAND. Hamilton, Nov. 27. Fat wethers and ewes were penned in large numbers at the Frankton saleyards to-day, ewes being in the majority. Competition for both classes was steady, and little alteration on last week’s prices was recorded. Fat lambs again came forward in large numbers and sold at about equal to schedule rates. Therp was a short yarding of ox beef, but the entry was mostly of well-fin-ished cattle, and the market remained very firm at last week’s rates.
