DISPOSAL OF WOOL
KNEW OBTAINED DISHONESTLY.
WELLINGTON MAN’S ADMISSION.

An unsuccessful attempt to dispose of about £ll worth of wool he subsequently admitted having received knowing it to be dishonestly obtained, led to John Henry George Burt, aged 28, being fined £5 in default a month’s imprisonment. He also admitted stealing a quantity of petrol valued at 6s 6d from cars left unattended at Otaki, and was fined £2 in default 10 days. On a charge of stealing about eight sacks of wool of tile approximate value of £8 at Matapiro, Hastings, he was remanded to appear at Napier on November 30.
