TOTAL FOR ENGLAND AND WALES COMPARISON WITH LAST YEAR. British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Noy. 26. The total number of houses built in England and Wales in the six months ended September 30, 1934, was 156,463. The number for the corresponding period of 1933 was 113,332.
