British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5. p.m. Rugby, Nov. 26. With the King’s approval thfe cruisers of M class, which it was intended to name after mythological monsters ,are instead to be called after cities. The two ships of the 1933 programme, Polyphemeus and Minotaur, will be renamed Southampton and Newcastle, and the three ships of the 1934 programme will be named Birmingham, Glasgow and Sheffield.
