New South Wales beat South Australia by an innings and 158 runs in the Sheffield Shield cricket match. South Australia collapsed again in the second innings, making only 267, Badcock 17, Richardson 44, Lonergan 27, Whittington 27. Chilvers took five wickets for 58 runs and Hill four for 33. . New South Wales made 479 in the first innings. South Australia s first innings total was 154.
