LONG TOAST LIST HONOURED.
A long toast list was honoured when the new officers of the Hawera Gas Company in Regent Street, Hawera, were officially opened last night. . The guests included distinguished men in the gas and coal industry from other centres and congratulations to the Hawera company and directors on the erection of such commodious premises were extended by ail speakers. Mr. B. J. McCarthy, chairman of directors, presided and the guests included Messrs, H. G, Dickie, M-P-> and F. Nalder, manager Of the State Coal Company, Wellington. About 50 were present.
