EMPLOYEE FAILS IN HIS TRUST. REFORMATIVE DETENTION TERM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 12. Sentence of two years’ reformative detention was passed on Francis . Joseph Cramp by Mr. Justice Herdman to-day. Cramp while an accountant of the Central Waikato Power Board stole £716. His counsel said Cramp was a married man with three young children. The punishment imposed would cause most suffering to the wife and family. The judge said that always happened. He always felt sorry for the dependents of offenders, but that could not be considered in inflicting the punishment. Cramp had been in a position of trust. His wage was £7, and he had been receiving £l5O to £2OO yearly from his mother.
