Jonas, 16, were the only doublefigure scorers for Urenui, whil • A. Giddy took five wickets for 30, and J. Longstaff, three for none, in the last over of the innings secured the hat trick. J. Longstaff was also in form with the bat and his total of 51 included one six and seven fours. W. Sheard, four for 20, and H. Morgan, two for nine, bowled best for Urenui. Urenui won the toss and opened disastrously, losing the first two wickets for no runs. After five wickets were down for 18 runs Wilson and Jonas made a useful partnership which took the score to 42.
