CARDS AND DANCING
EFFORT- TOR OAONUI HALL FUNDS. A euchre party and dance held on Friday for the funds of the Oaonui hall was well attended. Mrs. C. Malcolm played for the dances and there was an extra by Mr. Isaac Bishop. Mr. Colin Bishop was master of ceremonies. Euchre prizes were won by Mrs. R. Malcolm, Miss McGregor, Mrs. F. Neumann, Mrs. D. Hawkes and Mrs; •M. Tioko (womto) and Messrs. T. Barrett, L. Neumann, E. Clegg, T. Ratahi and W. Waswd (men). Competitions were won by Miss Northcotte and Mr. Dwyer, the prizes having been presented by Mrs. Coombe. Mr. Colin Bishop thanked Mrs. Coombe for her gift. Personal. Mrs. Smith is spending a holiday with her daughter, Mrs. J. Linley, Kina Road. Mrs. Len Johnston has returned from the New Plymouth hospital.Misses B. and R. Simms, New Plymouth, are the guests of Mips A. Pentelow, Kina Roaa.
