TO TAKE UP BISHOPRIC
CANON HILLIARD AT WELLINGTON. CONSECRATION AT NELSON SOON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night The Rev. Canon Hilliard arrived at Wellington by the Monowai this afternoon from Sydney to take up his duties as bishop of Nelson. He will be consecrated to the bishopric at Nelson on Sunday week, when several Anglican dignitaries, including the primate of New Zealand, Archbishop Averill, and the Archbishop of Sydney, Dr. Mowll, will attend.
