POPE’S MESSAGE TO CONGRESS. REFERENCE TO ASSASSINATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 1.30 a.m. Vatican City, Oct. 15. The Vatican wireless transmitter achieved its longest performance to-day when the Pope sent a message and his blessing 'across the Atlantic to the Eucharistic Congress at Buenos Aires. He referred to the assassination of King Alexander and M. Barthou and prayed that the spirit of Christ would provide peace for a world afflicted by the shadow of royal and fraternal blood.
