FRUITFUL SERVICE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN DOMINION APPRECIATION OF SYNOD. By. Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A resolution placing on record its sincere appreciation of the fruitful service and noble efforts of the Governor-Gen-eral and Lady Bledisloe in all matters pertaining to the spiritual, moral and temporal welfare of the people of New Zealand was passed at to.-day's session of the diocesan synod. The synod desired to express to Lord and Lady Bledisloe its real gratitude for all they had been to and had done for the Dominion, its deep regret at their departure, and its fervent hope that they might long be spared to continue their unselfish service in England for the glory of God wd the well-being of mankind.
