BIG COMPANY MERGER
DUNEDIN AND ENGLISH FIRMS. MACHINERY TO BE IMPORTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The amalgamation of two English companies, John Mackintosh and Sdns and A. J. Caley and Son with the Phoenix Company of Dunedin is announced as the result of the recent visit to London of the local Phoenix manager, Mr. Ferguson. The combination will be known as the Mackintosh, Caley Phoenix Company Arrangements have been completed for the installation at Dunedin of the latest machinery in use by English firms.
