REGULATIONS BROKEN
INADEQUATE LIGHTS ON CARS. Breaches of regulations wOre dealt with by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., in the New Plymouth Court yesterday. John H. H. Holm was ordered to pay costs for driving a car at night with one headlight. Albert Claude Dustin, Wanganui, was fined 10s and costs 10s for driving a car at night with One headlight, and ordered to pay costs 10s for driving at night without a headlight. Patrick C. Huggett was ordered to pay costs 10s for driving a car at night without headlights. Samuel H. Titter was fined 10s for driving a motor-cycle without a license.
George O’Sullivan, labourer, New Plymouth, charged with being on the licensed premises of the Grosvenor Hotel, New Plymouth, after hours oh August 11, was fined £2 with costs 12s. Sergeant S. G. Clist said O’Sullivan was found in the bar of the hotel at 9.18 p.m. on August 11. He was under the influence of liquor and had to be taken to the police station before he would give his correct name.
