Princess Marina, whose betrothal to Prince George was announced the other day, believes that the lucky charm that has brought her happiness is a gold coin King Alexander of Jugo-Slavia gave her, says a message from Lake Bled. Princess Elizabeth (Princess Marina’s sister) was’engaged three weeks after being given a similar coin. Princess Marina told the Dispatch: “We really believe in the charm; I am superstitious.” . Official circles have been informed that Prince George will return to London on September 8. He will fly from Paris in the Prince of Wales’ aeroplane. Princess Marina will travel to London later. It is almost certain that Princess Elizabeth will be bridesmaid at the wedding. Telegrams of congratulations from all parts of the world continue to be received by the King and Prince George. Sir Isaac Isaacs, Governor-General .of Australia, sent a telegram to the King from the Government of fhe Commonwealth and the people of Australia offering loyal felicitations and good wishes. The Daily Mail’s special Lake Bled correspondent says that Princess Marina, when interviewed said: “I hope to go to London in three weeks. I cannot say when we will be married.” Prince George interposed firmly: “Before Christmas.”
